We see if quite often - about one month before the big day, the couple realizes... “oh shoot, we never booked a videographer and we are going to regret that!!”
When Brandon’s sweet mom first reached out only a few short weeks before the wedding day, I quickly fell in love with her energy and personality, and knew we'd be a great fit! One of her first comments was "we never booked a videographer! And the wedding is just around the corner, can we still book you?"
YES. ABSOLUTELY YES!
And let me tell you... though I am a planner at heart, there is an element of excitement when the wedding being booked is just around the corner... I'm talking less than 30 days away, timeline is all done, and the day is fully planned out.
And after meeting with Celese and Brandon on the phone and getting to know them a little more, I knew we were a perfect fit for their big day!
When the big day came - everything was just perfect. Great venue, great photographer, amazing couple with such a kind and thoughtful family.
Working at Valley Venue Venue has quickly become on of our very favorites. This gorgeous venue in Alachua, Florida is full of grassy green rolling hills and valleys. It has a high class, elegant southern feel with a white and black barn (but doesn't have that barn feeling). The verandah area for cocktails and the bar is probably one of my favorite parts.
Shooting beside Katrina at Drew Photography really helped make the day that much better. She is so talented and kind, and understands the value of video and videography. (Always a true bonus! This allows for her to get the shots she needs, and then pass it over to us for some video shots! #teamwork) We'd 100% recommend her for her kindness and thoughtfulness - and her amazing work is just the cherry on top!
And of course, our bride & groom made the day as magical as it was. Brandon & Celese have been together for many years, and even have two adorable kids together! Sitting down with them to talk about their love story was really special. Being high school sweethearts, these two just lit up every time they talked about each other. They love each other and their kids so, so well.
